- **News** We finally had our day in court. March 6th, the
CPOA went to court over the drunk driver that ran through the
building. We won, but he appealed. Our next court date is May
20th, which will be heard in Superior Court Room A at 0900. Not
only did he lose, the CPOA community lost as well. We are on
the road to recovery, but it is going to be a struggle.

- Prayers:
Please keep all of our service men and women in your prayers,
with a special prayer for our very own Chief Steve Schaffer and
his family. He departed on April 17th for a deployment
over seas.

- CPOA Elections:
Elections are just around the corner for President, Secretary,
Treasurer and Board of Governors. If you would like to
hold one of the positions or know of someone that would, please
come to the July meeting for nominations. Nominations will
be held July to October, with voting in November. swearing
in of the new Officers will be held at the Christmas Party,
December 12th.

- Parking Lot fund
We are raising money for the parking lot.
It has seen its better days.
Please come out and enjoy good food and conversation
during our events.
